AXAMÉRICA, the “mother company” of the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI), was incorporated in Quebec 34 days after 9/11

Quick thinking?  Or advance preparation?  AXAMÉRICA was incorporated in Quebec under Part 3 of the Quebec Companies Act, Chapter C-38, on 2001-10-15 (October 15, 2001), exactly thirty-four (34) days after 9/11 to promote the merger of North America … supposedly made “necessary” by 9/11.  But, as we know or should know, North American Union was already underway with NAFTA, preceded by the FTA, preceded by the Auto Pact, preceded by two World Wars.

There are PDFs embedded on this page.  Hit “reload” if you don’t see them, they’ll come up.

AXAMÉRICA was incorporated as an “advertising agency” (“agence de publicité”) (Economic Activity Code 7741) for the purpose of promoting interests and projects in North America.  You can search the Quebec Companies Department online for that or any other business registration in Quebec.

Then, on 2002-07-04 (the 4th of July, American independence day), AXAMÉRICA added three new business names to its incorporation:

FORO SOBRE LA INTEGRATION NORTEAMERICANA (FINA).
FORUM SUR L’INTÉGRATION NORD-AMÉRICAINE (FINA)
NORTH AMERICAN FORUM ON INTEGRATION (NAFI)

AXAMÉRICA, under those three names, then proceeded to organize the “First North-American Model Parliament“, which was held in the Canadian Senate Chamber in 2005 in the Parliament buildings in Ottawa, with Liberal Senator Céline Hervieux-Payette and Raymond Chrétien, the nephew of Liberal prime minister Jean Chrétien, as the masters of ceremonies.

Business registrations in Quebec are in French.  A PDF of the AXAMÉRICA incorporation was made in 2015, and translated into English for research purposes.  View the French PDF below.  Download the French PDF.
